Raised Bed Support Stretcher Bar (Pack of 2)

These handy stabilisation bars are the ideal solution to prevent bowing in raised beds. Over time, raised bed planks can sometimes bow outwards under the weight of soil, especially if deep filled. Though this will not prevent your vegetable bed being used, this stretcher bar ensures your Build-a-Bed Raised Bed retains its shape regardless of material fill. These stabilisation bars stretch across the width of your bed, hooking on to either side to keep raised bed planks in tension. Soil can then be spread on top of the bar to hide if necessary. These stretcher bars are strong but thin and discrete, taking up minimal growing space in your planter. 

Note 1: stretcher bars fit 1m and 1.25m wide raised beds only and will not fit beds where the length and width are both greater than 1.25m. 

Note 2: to use stretcher bars with your existing raised bed setup simply drill a hole in the first and/or second rung of your raised bed straight connector (see pic 1). If purchasing a raised bed and stretcher bar together, let us know if you would like us to pre-drill the straight connectors.
