Our Build-a-Cage fruit cage is a high quality aluminium frame crop cage for growing and protecting a range of fruit, vegetables, herbs, flowers and plants. This 1.25m tall cage comes with a 0.6mm diameter insect mesh cover with large door for easy access to crops. Suitable for most crops but especially for carrots, parsnips, parsley, brassicas and other fruit & veg vulnerable to attack by carrot fly, aphids, cabbage white butterflies and small insects.

These cages come with everything needed to for assembly, including: aluminium tubes, tube connector balls, tube foot spikes, netting cover and pegs. Please note: The cage tubes should be inserted into the ground by 5–10cm, or deeper where required, to provide a stable installation. The exact insertion depth will depend on your soil conditions. If the ground is particularly hard, dry or compacted, we recommend loosening or lightly cultivating the soil first to make insertion easier and help achieve the required depth.
